What is Cheiloplasty?

Cheiloplasty or lip surgery, is a very simple cosmetic intervention which gives the lips the volume and sensuality necessary for beautifying and rejuvenating the face. This is a minimally invasive surgical procedure. It is always performed under local anesthetic and takes an average of 20 minutes.

people who underwent some previous treatment that failed

It is important to keep in mind that some people with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases may not be suitable for cheiloplasty. The patient will undergo the necessary medical examinations for the surgeon to approve the procedure. Also, active smokers should take special care, since smoking is not recommended if this type of procedure is practiced.
